Great news for Street Fighter fans - Capcom has revealed that a brand new full length anime is in the works to coincide with the release of Street Fighter IV on home consoles.

As reported by GameSpot, producer Yoshinori Ono revealed the 50-60 minute anime at the recent Tokyo Game Show 2008 with a three minute trailer, which showed "Cammy walking through woods with a group of troops, Ryu awakening to his dark side, Sakura and Chun-Li fighting together against a gang of thugs, and Crimson Viper fighting against Ryu".

The film is being created by Studio 4C, the company responsible for the Street Fighter IV animes that will tie the end of Street Fighter II to the beginning of the new game, which is set before Street Fighter III.
