New Banjo is "genuinely new and innovative"

Rare says it's best to wait till tomorrow before forming any opinions on the game.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com, George Kelion, Rare community manager, has urged gamers not to form any "ill-informed notions" about the developer's upcoming Banjo title for Xbox 360 based on leaked screen shots currently doing the rounds on the Internet.

"People are better off until waiting for tomorrow," said Kelion, referring to the lifting on an embargo Microsoft has in place on a host of new game info.

"It's not just a graphical showcase. It's not a racing game. We've genuinely done something new and innovative," he explained.

Expect a flurry of info on Banjo and a host of other titles tomorrow, including a new Viva Piñata game, Scene It? 2, Lips and Ninja Blade.
