Microsoft's X0 event not happening this year

Platform holder will find another way to talk about its 2008 line-up.

Speaking on the Squad XP Podcast, Aaron Greenberg, group product manager for Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE, revealed that Microsoft will not be holding one of its X0 events this year.

"There is not a real X07 this year but I think that we will figure out some way to talk about 2008 some time at a different event or a different type of programme," Greenberg told Squad XP's Podcast.

Microsoft's X0 events began back in 2001 and have seen their fair share of revelations: at X02 Microsoft announced its acquisition of Rare and last year Peter Jackson appeared on stage to announce his collaboration with Microsoft to create two new titles.
