A future update to Windows 10 and Xbox One could allow PC games to be streamed to the console, head of Xbox Phil Spencer has told The Verge.
With the launch of Windows 10 today, Xbox One users are able to stream games to Windows 10 devices, and there's a good chance that at some point in the future the reverse will also possible.
"We understand if you're going to go PC to Xbox, we need to get keyboard and mouse working completely so you could play those games," explains Spencer. "In terms of where we want to go with our platform, those are absolutely in scope of things that we want to do."
Spencer says PC to Xbox is a little more challenging from a technical perspective because not all PCs are equal.
"It's actually a little more challenging doing the encoding on the PC side to the Xbox, but challenge is good," he said.
So who knows, by spring 2016 perhaps Xbox One gamers will be able to get Street Fighter 6 on their system after all.

It's the same with Steam when you have a lower powered laptop you can stream from a better PC somewhere else in the house.

The same then works in the reverse. You have a PC in the bedroom/study. You'd far prefer to play on the big tv but you're not allowed an unsightly PC in the living room. Thus turn on the PC and stream to the big TV when the partner and kids are at her mothers.

What would be the advantages of streaming games from the pc to xbone? Literally NONE. Same goes the other way around, there are no advantages for streaming xbone games to PC. If you have xbone, why would you play it on a more crappy framerate with a bigger latency? It's a completely useless feature with no point whatsoever. Just like every microsoft console to date.
What would be the point of removing x360 from under your TV, just fire it up and play the games you want to have backwards compatibility now and you don't have to wait for some douchebag to approve the backwards compatibility on the new console system, simples. I still use my ps3 to watch films and play a few games. I don't see a point of having a new generation of consoles, maybe next year when uncharted 4 will be released I'll finally upgrade to new console.

As mainly a PC gamer, I like this feature. It enables me to play my games from my couch without having to buy an extra pc and without having to use cables. If done right it could convince me to use my xbox one more.
For the backwards compat, it is in beta and not all titles for release are announced... I will not comment on the amount of titles until the full release. Also being able to remove my ps3 and xbox 360 from under my tv, yet please! Those things are gathering dust just so that I can have a nostalgia trip once in a while.
