South Park co-creator Matt Stone has kicked off about the cuts made to the European versions of The Stick Of Truth.

A total of seven scenes and around "30-40 seconds" of content were replaced with written text explaining what gamers would've been seeing if they were living, for example, in the United States.

"We weren't going to change the content, so we've written little cards to explain what is going on, what they've censored, and made a joke out of it.

"We wanted people to know exactly where the line was: this is what you couldn't see for some reason, the rest of the world could, and we have no idea why. It's not cool - it's lame, ridiculous and stupid."

Stone also hinted that a new movie from himself and Trey Parker could be on the way at some point, and arguably that won't be restricted at all.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is released today. You can read our review here, and a quick follow-up about said review here.

Got past all the clips that are banned in the UK now. None of which are that bad/graphic at all. There are far more graphic scenes elsewhere in the game.

No idea what Ubisoft are thinking.

Show Spoiler The Probe that comes out of your ass is about as graphic as the probing scene. And you see nothing worth mentioning in the abortion scene.

Not sure if the scene where you watch your Mum and Dad having sex is cut? Dodging your dads ball sack was a particular favourite moment for me.

So.....did anyone tell him that it WASN'T a government/independant body that censored the game but Ubisoft itself?

I'm really sorry for Matt, Trey and Obisidian because I will not pay and play that Game. I mean I did already pay for it, have a Retail PC Version here but Ubisoft decided to make the Steam-Key of it Invalid because of some German Law that is worth ***** here in Switzerland were I live and bought the Game.
Meanwhile Steam made the Game Available for me since Yesterday if I purchase it there, so it should be all good now. But the Key still not working and probably never will.

It pisses me off that much because all I can find is a stupid Reason for all that and no furhter Statement from Ubisoft whats going on, just Ignoring me and everybody else. If they would talk to me at least, saying something, I could accept it but this is getting way to silly. Even my Store has no Idea whats going on because Ubisoft dosn't tell them anything either.
Do I get a new Key? Do I have to trade it for another Copy? Will I ever get anything for my Money? I don't freakin know. So I will bring it back to the Store, get my Money back and buy something thats not from Ubisoft with it.

I hate it when I give Companys Money and they treat me like some Idiot.
