Microsoft reveals that BioWare's highly anticipated action RPG will be released this year.
In the run-up to E3 there has been some speculation that BioWare's Mass Effect might miss a 2007 release, instead arriving in the early part of 2008.
However, during its pre-E3 conference which took place in the early hours of the morning, Microsoft announced that the game will ship for Xbox 360 in November 2007.
