The film deal begins with movies released in UK cinemas during 2011, made available to subscribers from March 2013.

I think it's probably down to the UI. Even though I would love a straightforward "List everything you have" in a section option, the sliding tiles thing is nice. Whereas finding anything on Lovefilm is a proper pain in the backside. When you don't really know what you want to watch, Netflix is much better. And, I like how it syncs between all devices, so if I watch half of something on my phone it will start from where I left off when I go to continue on my 360/PS3/PC.

Speaking of classics, I watched Zulu and Air Force One on Netflix last week and loved every second, I'd forgotton how good Air Force One in particular was. I subscribed to Netflix after trialing them and LOVEFiLM back to back, I can't really explain why, I just prefer Netflix.

Isn't Amazon Prime streaming part of XBox Live now? Or is that also US only?

I love the idea of Netflix much more than the actual content. The concentration on TV series is absolutely brilliant, because sometimes you just want to gorge on an entire run of something. But, the choice of films is less than great, as if someone went to a motorway service station and wrote down the names of DVDs on sale in one of those spinny racks and made sure they were available. Most of what I would ever want to watch is stuff I already own, particularly the classics.

I'm gunna be a hypocrite and say ***** Amazon UK. I'm an Amazon Prime member, I'm also a Lovefilm rental subscriber. I get no benefit for using one or the other.

In America, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you get Amazon Instant streaming (Which is Lovefilm) in with the membership. I've written to Amazon about this but hear nothing back.

Yeah, Netflix is still better at the moment. My Lovefilm extra months to try the £4.99 service are ending now, but I might stay a month to check out the content. Having all of Buffy and Angel sounds good.

So does that mean there won't be a rental on them like there is currently cos that's the only reason y I chose Netflix over Lovefilm as all the recent films were pay per view

Good. It needs more. It needs to be more like the US Netflix. I don't use my subsciption to them (I have about 2 months left) because there is nothing on there that interests me - It's either films that are majorly old and even then not good ones or new, straight to video ones. Again, crap ones too.
