Capcom cautiously deny licence spin-off.

Despite rumours of a Lost Planet strategy game, recently fuelled by Capcom's application for a trademark of 'Lost Planet Colonies', the company was unable to confirm any such title is underway.

Speaking to Pro-G, a Capcom representative confirmed "As far as I know this title has not been confirmed for development".

However, Capcom has previously expressed an interest in expanding on the license, so fans of Lost Planet may yet see another game based on the icy world of the third-person-shooter.
