Leaked Ubisoft 2012 release schedule reveals new Splinter Cell

Brothers in Arms: Furious 4, Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed III and Just Dance Final Party also coming this year.

A new Splinter Cell game titled Retribution will be released this year, according to a leaked Ubisoft release schedule.

In addition to Splinter Cell: Retribution, 2012 will also see the release of Brothers in Arms: Furious 4, Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed III and Just Dance Final Party, amongst others.

  • Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online (Microsoft Windows, Wii U)
  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Retribution (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows)
  • Prince of Persia (Wii, 3DS)
  • Assassin's Creed 3 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Microsoft Windows)
  • Just Dance Final Party (Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation Move)

Ubisoft claims to have no knowledge of the list discovered by Gameranx.

VideoGamer.com Analysis

Besides the new Splinter Cell, the major news from the release schedule is a Wii U version of Assassin's Creed III and Ghost Recon Online, the former being much more believable than the latter.

It's also somewhat of an odd naming choice for the next Just Dance title, with Just Dance Final Party sounding like the last game in the series - a strange move given its popularity.

isnt jade raymond the lass who did AC1 begind the new splinter cell remember while back saying they were making a new splinter cell. must admit i loved chaos theory especially the multiplayer was quality!

Chaos Theory IS a fantastic game. If they can make the next one more like that and less like Conviction then I'd be happy.

Splinter Cell any day! I liked Conviction for it's brutal approach, but I wish they opt for the old school Fisher, than the new, though they could strike a balance between the two.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online, on Wii-U, was already announced last year at E3. Good to see AC3 coming to it though, makes me want to buy the system now.

Yeah Far Cry 3 is a must buy for me. I'm also pleased to see Splinter Cell is returning to the Playstation. Now I can play it.
