Unlimited ad-supported use for Gold members.

lastfm -

Xbox LIVE general manager Christina DeRosa has revealed to Joystiq that when Last.fm launches later this year on Xbox 360 there will be numerous access levels, dependent on the user's Xbox LIVE membership and subscription status.

"Silver users will be able access what we're considering a trial period of three hours a month, which comes with video advertising," said DeRosa. "Gold users will have unlimited ad-supported access, so they can use it 24 hours a day."

DeRosa added: "There will also be a premium offering on a subscription basis from Last.fm, that will be commercial free and will also have more sophisticated personalization features, like Loved Tracks."

Last.fm subscription prices are currently set at $3/£3 per month.

I would rather have ad's, than pay 3 quid.

Free is cheaper than I thought it would be so I can put up with ad-supported access. The other major plus is that when my dodgy disc drive finally gives up the ghost at least my 360 can still be used for something until its 3rd RROD.
