Jaffe to announce new game 'soon'

Had previously said he'd love to announce it at E3 2010.

Back in May, Eat Sleep Play founder David Jaffe (best known as the original God of War game director) revealed he wasn't going to show his new game at E3 2009, but did add that he'd love to announce the title at E3 2010.

"Next year, I fully expect us to be on the show floor," said Jaffe. "Part of me would love to announce at E3, so you walk into the Sony booth and bam, there's our game."

It turns out we might not have to wait until E3 2010 to find out exactly what Jaffe has been working on. Posting on Twitter early this morning he said his new game would be "announced soon!".

Eat Sleep Play has signed a multi-year deal with Sony to create games exclusively for PlayStation platforms and it has been heavily rumoured that the new game will be the first Twisted Metal game for PS3.
