Described as a 'big project'.

Irrational Games co-founder and creative chief Ken Levine has revealed that his studio's latest game will emerge from secrecy later this year.

"This is the year we'll start talking about stuff, and we stop hiding behind the iron curtain of secrecy," Levine told GameSpot.

Exactly when that'll be, Levine wasn't saying, but did confirm that it will happen after the 2010 Game Developers Conference in March.

Details on the game are scarce. The Irrational Games website lists a position within the company to work on what appears to be a shooter and Levine has stated it is a "big project" which will see the studio's head count will rise from its current 40 employees to around 100.

Irrational Games recently switched back to its original name, having been operating as 2K Boston since 2006.
