At last week's GDC Pro-G sat down with Sony Worldwide Studios president Phil Harrison to discuss some of the platform holder's recent announcements - more of that here - but we also managed to sneak in a few questions about the secretive PS3 title, Afrika.
At first Harrison was coy, laughing off our questions, but our suggestion that Afrika should be integrated into Home as a Safari holiday was enough to get him talking.
"That's actually a good idea," he said of our PS3 Home integration idea. "The game designers on Afrika are being deliberately coy about the game experience. I know what it is; I've seen it and I know it's going to be a very interesting gaming experience."
Harrison added, "It's not about killing and it's not about running around the environment shooting elephants and hippopotami - that would be awful. That's not what we're all about. What we're about is taking people to places in a virtual world. So Afrika, I think, is a great example of that."
And when can we expect to find out some solid details about the game? Harrison wasn't being pinned down to a date, but did tell us to "hold on just a little bit more."
