Handheld Mega Drive coming to the UK very soon
Will include 20 built-in 16-bit SEGA licensed game such as Sonic and Knuckles, Golden Axe and Altered Beast.
Blaze has today announced the imminent release of the handheld Mega Drive across the UK. The portable gaming device will cost only £29.99 and will include 20 built in 16-bit SEGA licensed games.
These titles include SEGA Mega Drive classics such as Sonic and Knuckles, Golden Axe, Shinobi, Ecco the Dolphin, Alex Kidd - Enchanted Castle, Alien Storm, Altered Beast, Arrow Flash, Crackdown, Decap Attack, Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Ecco Junior, Flicky, Gain Ground, Jewel Master, Kid Chameleon, Sonic Spinball and Shadow Dancer.
In addition to a colour LCD screen and built-in speakers, the handheld Mega Drive also features a TV out connection to enable gameplay on a big screen.

Mind you, if you have a PSP with Custom Firmware or a DS with an M3 or DS Real card then you can just download an emulator and the roms (if you own the original games, of course!)
Anyway, the Nomad was a portable Megadrive from Sega that was available here on import and actually played the Megadrive carts but had really bad battery life. This should really have been an update of that, but using an SD card or something and allowing you to download games from an official site.
