The Buzz: Release date confusion over Half-Life 2: Episode 1. Valve says May 31 and EA says June 30.
More delays?Recent reports from Game Informer quoting Doug Lombardi of Valve had confirmed that Half-Life 2: Episode 1 had slipped from its April 24 release to May 31. After speaking with an EA representative, we have since learned that Episode 1 is now scheduled for release on June 30, with the May 31 release date seemingly already out of date.
Half-Life 2: Episode 1, formerly known as Aftermath, picks up from where you left the game in Half-Life 2 and is the first of a series of planned episodic content releases, with Episode 2 already in development.
