Speaking in a conference call that followed the company's second-quarter financials, Take-Two executives have denied claims made by Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter that GTA IV's release will be delayed. Both the standard and special editions are on course for release in the US on October 16 and in PAL territories on October 19.

The company also announced that a new trailer, titled "Looking for that special someone" will be released on June 28.

Take-Two CEO Ben Feder also offered some good news for Sony, noting that he believes the release of GTA IV will have a "beneficial impact on the sales of PS3".
