I cant see alot of younger kids doing this, it's certainly a nostalgia move for the older games.

Fantastic! I like the 'ambience' you can build up, and the little mascots look fun. I think I'll be buying a good selection of games from this service. Most of the haters seem to be younglings whose idea of a hard game is Mario and Sonic: Winter Games, or some such streamlined modern 'casual game'... :D

I only hope they come up with a similar thing for the retro pinball tables, a la Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection (but, you know, actually released in the UK).

Edit: Just in case others haven't seen it elsewhere: there will be over 1000 games released over 3 years for the arcade (averaging 6-8 each week). Pricing is 240 msp per machine for 360 or Games for Windows, 400 msp to access the content on both services, or 40 msp for a single play. BUT you can play the machines that any friends have payed for in their arcades!

No Pac-Man? No Tetris? No Space Invaders? What sort of collection is this?!?!

But seriously, I can't see many people paying for this to be honest.

Oooo Asteroids :P
Yeah, weird there's no Space invaders.
I wish they'd done it more like an arcade.
So like you'd have Retro Mortal Kombat,
and you'd have more arcade racers and stuff.

Looks like this can be fun the success will be measured on the quality of the games so can't wait to see them. Was suprised by the lack of Space Invaders as a launch title.
