GAME Reward Card to give less points for pounds
News
The retailer tweaks its loyalty scheme.

GAME is to update its GAME Reward Card terms and conditions on October 29, reducing the amount of points customers will receive for every pound spent.
Currently customers receive 1 point for every £0.10 spent, but under the new terms will receive 1 point for every £0.125 spent. It's a slight change, but enough to make a difference
£40 pound spending used to earn you 400 reward points, which equates to £1 to spend with GAME. You'll now have to spend £50 to earn your £1.
You'll find the full terms on the GAME website.
Update: GAME has defended its decision to change the Reward Card - read the full statement.

I guess they have to cut costs like everyone else in the country, though, so it's not surprising. But isn't the whole card system changing pretty soon anyway?
Our local Gamestation is getting ready for next week's rebranding to GAME.

That made me laugh until i realised i felt the same. Seems like they have gotten worse since the big change over.
