GAME confirms half price 500GB PS3 trade-in deal

GAME will be offering the 500GB PS3 with or without FIFA 13 for half price when trading-in a selected console, the retailer has announced on its website.

The solus and bundled systems are both priced £249.99 on the GAME website, meaning you'll be paying £124.99 if you take up the trade-in deal.

The best value option is getting rid of an old 120GB PS3, but the deal also works with the 160GB PS3, 320GB PS3 and the 250GB Xbox 360.

The offer runs from September 28 through to October 12 and only while stocks last.

VideoGamer.com Analysis

An upgrade from an ageing 120GB PS3 to the 500GB plus a copy of FIFA 13 for £125 doesn't seem like too bad a proposition.

500GB for £249.99? To be honest, that's a good deal in my eyes. I am temtped to trade in my PS3 to get a slim, as I would then go online with it!

What about 250gb model, it makes no sense to offer lower models and higher models but not the 250gb.
