Early images of Frontier Development's cancelled Xbox 360 game Microsoft Zoo have shown up on the portfolio of recently departed senior GUI artist Anil Glendinning.
"Frontier Development’s follow-up game to its award winning ThrillVille series, was Microsoft Zoo," writes Glendinning. "A game that aimed to take the venerable Zoo Tycoon franchise in an exciting new direction.
"Part zoo creation and part animal interaction, this 3rd person adventure was all charm and lay the groundwork for what would eventually become Kinectimals."
Glendinning left Frontier in March, having been at the UK studio since July 2008. Only this month he joined European social gaming company Pretty Simple as art director.
The game was aimed at families and tweens.
