Robot Entertainment working on Spartan for Microsoft Game Studios.

robot entertainment -

Kotaku's got hold of a launch screen for an as yet announced game from Robot Entertainment - the development studio formed from the disbanded Halo Wars developer, Ensemble.

According to the screen the game is called Spartan, is coming to Games for Windows LIVE and features quests, units and crafting. Earlier info obtained by Kotaku described the title as a "ground-breaking strategy game".

That's about it for now.

Groundbreaking? Starcraft 2? It's more or less Starcraft 1 but upped everything.....wait, that does sound groundbreaking. GIVE THAT MAN A MEDAL.

Halo Wars Dev? Quite sad they'll be called that when they should be called the Age of Empires developers.

kotaku really worked themselves into a muddle there...it could be a massive double bluff and actually is something to do with halo.
