The release of Final Fantasy III for the Nintendo DS has sent gamers into a frenzy, queuing overnight for a limited edition bundle.
Famitsu.com reports on a successful launch for Final Fantasy III for the Nintendo DS, and in particular the overwhelming demand for the limited edition FFIII DS Lite bundle (Crystal White edition console with a design from the game's character designer).
Final Fantasy fanatics are reported to have begun queuing in the early hours in order to be in with a chance of getting their hands on the limited edition DS Lite. Lines formed at all the major shopping hubs in Tokyo, where numbers of more than 150 people were reported at 7am, three hours before stores opened their doors.
Those lucky (and willing to line up in the early hours) enough to secure one of the limited edition DS Lites went home happy, and the DS looks to have another bona-fide hit on its hands in Final Fantasy III.
