Every EA release in FY11 to have online component

EA chief operating officer John Schappert has revealed that every one of EA's releases in its next financial year - April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011 - will be online enabled.

"In fiscal 2011, every one of EA's releases will have an online component, both downloadable content and online play," said Schappert during the publisher's third quarter investor call last night.

Chief financial officer Eric Brown added: "This fiscal '11 we will continue to introduce new service and product features that benefit unique registered purchasers on PC and console games."

So expect more redeemable codes for DLC and in-game services bundled with new game purchases.
