Earthworm Jim to wriggle onto consoles

David Perry spills the beans on a new Earthworm Jim game.

Everyone who owned a 16-Bit system remembers the Earthworm Jim series and it seems that the wormy wonder is to make a comeback. Speaking to Pro-G during an interview at GDC, David Perry (Shiny Entertainment founder) hinted at what lies ahead for the abnormal action hero and his 'Ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit'.

"We reformed the (Earthworm Jim) team and they were all into it," said Perry. "Trust me, all the original Earthworm Jim guys are still very interested in the whole idea; just know that it'll happen eventually."

While concrete details about the game's release or which platforms it may grace weren't revealed, long-time fans of the series can look forward to foiling the evil plans of the malevolent Psy-Crow once again.
