While recent Tiger Woods games have failed to excite as they did in the early days of the PlayStation 2, they continue to be big sellers and a vital part of EA's sports portfolio. It's no surprise then that EA has signed the multimillionaire golfer for a further six years. The deal gives EA the rights to use Mr Woods' name and likeness.
The latest game in the Tiger Woods series was released at the launch of the Xbox 360. Barring a surprise of monumental proportions expect to see Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 arrive on numerous platforms towards the end of 2006.
