It's all down to release timing.
Last night EA announced the June release of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, confirming PS3 Motion Control and Wii MotionPlus support, but what about Natal?
It turns out EA isn't deliberately ignoring Microsoft's motion controller. Speaking to VG247 at GDC, an EA spokesperson said it's all because of release timing. Xbox 360 and future Natal gamers will have to wait until the 2012 edition, said the rep.
This begs the question, just when will the PS3 Motion Controller and Xbox 360's Natal be released? PS3 Motion Controller support for Tiger Woods 11 suggests Sony's tech will hit stores earlier than Microsoft's, but a launch in time for Tiger Woods 11's June release seems unlikely.
Rumours suggest we're now only hours away from finding out the launch date for the PS3 Motion Controller - Sony's hosting a conference tonight.

I think I'd rather wait for people to get it right than rush out a half arsed attempts.

natal does not require longer to develop for, its just that its not quick enough to read the motions of a person swinging a golf club. Their hoping to fix that problem by 2012 and if they dont, people will have forgotton EA ever made this statement anyway.
they cant exactly say natal isnt good enough and ruin their business relations with microsoft.
