Wouldn't be shocked to see the publisher's slate reduced to 30 titles a year.
EA chief executive John Riccitiello has suggested the publisher's slimmed down release schedule - reduced to about 40 titles on various platforms in the next financial year - could be cut back even further in the years ahead.
Speaking at the Reuters Global Media Summit in New York on Tuesday, Riccitiello said: "Thirty wouldn't shock me at some point in the future."
A reduction to just 30 titles a year would represent a further 25 per cent cut on EA's release slate.
Would it be a good move by EA to slim down its release schedule, focussing more on quality rather than quantity? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
