Duke Nukem 3D coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade?

3D Realms wants to port the classic FPS to Microsoft's console.

News of an Xbox LIVE Arcade port of Duke Dukem 3D has cropped up over on Shacknews, with 3D Realms' George Broussard stating the development studio could port the game and is simply waiting for the all-clear from Microsoft.

"Truth be told, we've talked to Microsoft about it and have some people that would port it," wrote Broussard. "Just waiting on the good word from Microsoft to continue."

Broussard declined to comment further.

Duke Nukem 3D has already made its way to PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and the GBA, and would be a welcome addition to the LIVE Arcade.
