Diablo on your handheld?

Blizzard ask readers if they would buy a PSP or DS version of Diablo II if a wireless enabled multiplayer mode was included.

Rumours that a handheld port of Blizzard's Diablo II is in the works have emerged after Blizzard sent out a newsletter asking readers if they would consider buying a Sony PSP or Nintendo DS version of if Diablo II featuring wireless multiplayer. In the same news letter Blizzard asked readers if they would buy a DS version of the classic RTS game Starcraft.

Blizzard has not confirmed anything as yet, but are definitely testing the waters for possible releases on the console formats. We will bring you more on this when we get it.

But since were talking about Diablo II I would say PSP becouse of the fact that theres no nead for a tuch screen or any of that stuff on Diablo. What Diablo needs is a system with good grafics and it that area the PSP would win every time. Reply

Graphics don't make a game, gameplay makes a game. Who said they were updating the graphics anyway? The graphics add to the feel of the game, and if they did change them, assuming that they are releasing it on ds/psp it would take away from the feel of the game. Reply

And starcraft and warcraft would be perfect on the DS. Get a move on Blizzard!! Please!! :) Reply

null	0 0 In response to Bp_'s post As in use touchscreen for controls, voice chat with the mic lol... » Go to Bp_'s original post SirGouki is so right...d2 on psp wouldnt work...itd be so hard to switch spells and aim for that matter...d2 is a top down far away screen, your guy will look like an ant...no graphics revamping here itd be pointless...inless there gonna make it into one of them lame hack and slash games that comeplty loose touch with rpg and 'defining your character' like untold and guanlet...which i feel come far from short of being a good game after playing diablo.. but hey. thats my opinion and the public WIll buy anything you tell them. I sure would buy it. Iam sure my friend whould if he had the money. Reply
