Dead Space dev working on 'bold new IP'

Visceral Games is gearing up for work on a "bold new IP," according to a job posting seeking an executive producer.

The ad states: "The executive producer for Visceral Redwood Shores will be leading a bold new IP that is heavily backed by EA leadership."

The studio hopes to "grow the game into a successful franchise capable of multiple versions".

Visceral recently had success with Dead Space 2.

With Dead Space now set to be a go to franchise for the studio, talk of a new IP could spell the end for hopes of a return to God of War-alike Dante's Inferno.

The studio has also been linked to a game based on Jack the Ripper.
