Crytek UK, the studio formed from the ashes of TimeSplitters developer Free Radical, has filed a trademark registration for "Self Defense".

There's no solid info on what the game could be, but the logo features a human silhouette in a defensive posture. It's not screaming action game, more self help title - teach yourself self defence.

It's certainly an area not yet tapped by the many sports and fitness titles on the market, and we could see it working across all platforms once Natal and PS Move hit stores.

If this game really does teach self-defense it would need some serious disclaimers on it. Mainly, "If you lose a few teeth trying to defend yourself using moves learnt in this game it's not our fault."
