Crytek also plans to show how an optimised version of the engine will offer great results on a budget PC.
Rumours of Crysis coming to consoles have been doing the rounds for almost as long as the game has been in the public domain and an upcoming presentation by Crytek at GDC 2008 looks set to ad further weight to these rumours.
The software developer will be showcasing its CryENGINE 2, the engine behind Crysis, running on multiple hardware platforms including the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Additionally, Crytek will demonstrate how well the fully optimised engine can perform on a budget PC.
GDC 2008 is scheduled to run February 18-22 and is shaping up to be quite a week for gaming related news.
