Bionic Commando Rearmed almost ready

Will "soon" be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Over on the official Grin website, Bionic Commando Rearmed creative director Simon Viklund has revealed that the retro remake is nearing completion and should be available soon.

"The final date for completing Bionic Commando Rearmed is closing in - we're stabilising the game and polishing all the details now, and soon this product of almost a year of late nights and hard work will ship to a digital distribution channel near you!" said Viklund.

He continued: "Within weeks we will see with sad eyes how it leaves to enter the approval process."

And what next for the Bionic Commando Rearmed team? Viklund says another retro project is on the cards.

"Needless to say we've already started dreaming about what retro project we could do next if the opportunity should arise," said Viklund. "There's this passion for the old gaming heritage within the team - and out there in the gaming community too, as made obvious by the overwhelming reception that news of BCR has gotten - that make us dare have these dreams."

Bionic Commando Rearmed looks like it'll offer a great slice of retro action, hopefully proving the perfect appetiser for the fully-fledged Bionic Commander re-imagining set for release later this year.
