Will excite gamers and non-gamers with games that maximise the platform holder's key franchises.

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has assured its fans that although nothing has currently been announced, it will reveal titles for the holiday season at E3 2008.

"All I can tell you is what we announce during E3 is gonna be fantastic," Fils-Aime told GameTrailers TV. "The gamer is gonna be excited and the expanded audience is gonna be excited."

The much-loved Nintendo front-man didn't offer any solid info on what will be revealed at E3, but did reveal there will be "a big game for the holiday that gamers will want".

The only other morsel of information is that Nintendo will be "maximising" all of its "key franchises", which doesn't really narrow it down much.

Star Fox
A new Mario
MAYBE a new F-zero since Wipeout is coming.
It cant be a new Metroid since they said they're gonna be leaving that for a good few years.

For all the years Nintendo have been going, they actually have very few franchises. So I'd be amazed if they came up with a new one. They much prefer to keep peddling/milking the same old ####!.

I'm guessing it'll be one of these:

Animal Crossing Wii
Donkey Kong Wii
F-Zero Wii
Kid Icarus Wii
Kirby Wii
Pokémon Wii
Yoshi Wii

And tbh, I wouldn't buy any of 'em.

I don't see another zelda game, properly another luigi mansion. And the likes of Star Fox and Animal Crossing.
