Better screened PSP on the way

Promises to deliver crisper colours with more definition when playing in natural light.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has today announced that it will launch a new PSP with an advanced screen and built-in microphone. The PSP-3000 will launch in Europe, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand from October 15 with a recommend retail price of €199. The price also includes a bundled PSP game.

The new model will offer the functionality and ergonomics of Slim & Lite, with the addition of a higher quality screen to deliver crisper colours with more definition when outside in natural light.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has also stated it plans to offer a variety of bundles that take advantage of the new PSP features, including a Go! communications bundle, and a variety of games bundles including Buzz!: Master Quiz, FIFA 09 and Harry Potter.
