wolfenstein -

Bethesda Softworks has posted a teaser on Vine, which holds information on a future game announcement, but which game?

The Vine clip begins with barbed wire imagery, then shots of old music records, before showing what looks like sheet music.

The old music seems to be an LP by The Moonbeam Trio called Planned program service program no.416, which Polygon has dated back to the 1910s.

The following sheet music is for "Air on the G-string" by Johann Sebastian Bach. Music by Bach featured in Fallout 3 on Agatha's station.

The music of Bach had some suggesting the tease is for a new Fallout title, but Bethesda's head of marketing has shot down that suggestion.

So what are we looking at? A teaser for a new Wolfenstein perhaps. Back in February a CV indicated that a new game in the franchise would be released this year, with Swedish studio MachineGames handling development.

MachineGames was founded by former members of Starbreeze (Chronicles of Riddick) and was acquired by Zenimax in 2010 to work on an unannounced title.
