7000 PSOne titles for PSP by year end 2007

Sony plans to have up to 7000 PlayStation games available for the PSP PlayStation emulator by the end of 2007.

This is according to UK PSP Magazine, which also reveals the identity of several of the PlayStation titles to be launched with the emulation service. If the magazine is to be believed, Tomb Raider, Castlevania SOTN, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, and Silent Hill will all be available from day one. Other titles will also be available from the off, but at this time have not been revealed.

In total Sony is aiming to have up to 7000 PlayStation games available for the emulation service by the end of 2007. Unfortunately the magazine contains no information regarding the price of the PlayStation games, or when they will be released.
