56 million Wiis sold life-to-date

429.23 million software units.

Nintendo has revealed that as of September 30, 2009, life-to-date sales of its Wii console stand at 56.14 million units. In the six months that preceded that date, 5.75 million units were sold, some 10 million fewer units than in the same six month period in the previous year.

Wii Software sales have reached 429.23 million units, with 76 million of this figure accumulated in the six month period ended September 30, 2009.
