41.7 million Xbox 360s shipped life to date

10.3 million in its most recent financial year.
Microsoft has announced that it shipped 10.3 million Xbox 360 consoles during its 2010 financial year (ended June 30, 2010). This is down from the 11.2 million units shipped in the previous year.
This brings life-to-date shipments for the console to 41.7 million units.
The Entertainment and Devices Division, to which the Xbox belongs, generated over $8 billion in revenue and profits rose from $108 million in 2009 to $679 million in 2010.
In related news, Xbox LIVE continues to grow, now boasting over 25 million members.

Yeah, but how many of those were the same person buying another one because of RROD (lolololololololololol).
My point being, it says shipped not sold, so many could be exchanges for new ones as RROD is (was) quite common.
