This is gonna be easy to predict:

ACTION & ADVENTURE - GRAND THEFT AUTO IV
GTA-IV takes it from Call Of Duty because of it having more variety in it's game play. I still dont understand how you can compare any of the nominations.

ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENT - METAL GEAR SOLID 4: GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS
MGS4 easily beats all. The key words here are "Artistic Achievement" and no other game comes close in artistry.

BEST GAME - CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE
This is purely down to personal preference and COD4 out of all these nominations delivered the most non-stop fun.

GAMEPLAY - GRAND THEFT AUTO IV
Easiest category to decide. Nuff said. How the hell did Mario Fart and Mario Galaxy make it.

SPORTS - FIFA 09
If you've played it then you know this is easily the best football game ever made.

STORY AND CHARACTER - GRAND THEFT AUTO IV
Loses the story part to Mass Effect or Fallout III but in terms of character Niko kicks all their collective asses and proceeds to run them over with a cop car.

TECHNICAL ACHIEVEMENT - GRAND THEFT AUTO IV/LITTLE BIG PLANET
Cant decide between GTA's huge sandbox environment or LBP's level design brilliance. This goes down to which was the critically acclaimed and I think GTA-IV may just take it.

USE OF AUDIO - CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE
I've played all these on my Sony Surround Sound Home Theatre, except for Mario obviously, and COD4's explosions sound so good everytime I heard one I had a tear come from my eye because I thought I was gonna die.

GTA IV for me followed by cod4. It was so difficult for me to decide but gta won.
I agree cod4 is better than gta in terms of replayability but gta is more tense, artistic and a one with a serious story. Sorry cod. I will pray for both of these and if any one of these wins then my choice has won

Totally agree, the Ghillie Suit mission was special and I hope CoD: MW wins best game, but I do believe that Deap Space is one that should def win either use of audio or artistic achievement.

The public vote is a toughie for me, loved GTAIV, Fallout 3 and COD4 and they're all going head to head :( I went with COD4, think I had the most 'fun' overall with that one, and the ghillie suit mission was a little bit on the special side.
