Battlefield dev set to reveal Mirror's Edge, a new FPS for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

According to CVG, Battlefield developer Digital Illusions will soon announce details of its upcoming console FPS Mirror's Edge. The game is being developed for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and is apparently set to shake up the genre.

Early reports suggest a futuristic setting, although we'll have to wait for an official announcement before anything is confirmed.

Digital Illusions is currently putting the finishing touches to its latest console Battlefield title, Bad Company, due out later this year, and expect plenty more on Mirror's Edge soon.
