Namco Bandai's side-scrolling action title to make blood-soaked return.
The June issue of EGM is running a cover story boasting the exclusive reveal of Namco Bandai's "next-gen resurrection of the Splatterhouse franchise".
There's no info right now other than the image of a hulking man holding a bloodied plank of wood. The original Splatterhouse was a side-scrolling action game in which players took control of Rick, a parapsychology student who gets trapped inside West Mansion alongside his girlfriend Jennifer.
Rick is left for dead, but is resurrected by the Terror Mask which attaches itself to him and gives him incredible strength. Rick must use this strength to fight off the monsters within West Mansion and save his girlfriend.
Expect much more on the new Splatterhouse title once the June issue of EGM makes its way to readers.

What i dont understand is how the mask will return? He was destroyed at 3 when the mask revealed he'll rule the world when David (Ricks son) was kidnapped
