Ascaron Entertainment has confirmed that Ageod's historical strategy title American Civil War will be released in the UK on October 12.

In American Civil War players take on the role of military and political leaders and must lead the troops of their nations to victory. Game developer Philippe Thibaut, a renowned designer in the Grand Strategy field, has a well received back catalogue of titles in the genre, with cult hits such as Great Invasions, Birth of America, War Wound, Europa Universalis and Pax Romana in his portfolio.
