The end may be in sight for Silicon Knights' troubled action adventure.
Too Human may have been in the news for all the wrong reasons recently, what with the very public disagreement between developer Silicon Knights and Epic Games, creators of the Unreal Engine 3, but it looks like the extended development that has taken the game across several platforms and an equal number of engines may finally be coming to a close.
Silicon Knights president Denis Dyack has confirmed that the game is now on target for a Q1 2008 release, exclusively on Xbox 360. He also asserted that a firm release date and more information on the game would be forthcoming, with a playable demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace to follow that. The demo would "speak for itself," he told IGN in an interview last week.

They were showing this at GDC 2008 and it looks pretty spectacular. I don't think I've seen a combat system quite like this before and I like the way they've built the game from the ground up with both the action-fiends and the RPG-fiends in mind.
Silicon Knights are now saying 'It's nearly finished' so hopefully we'll see it on the shelves around May 2008, and according to them the demo should be out on XBox Live before the game launches.
