Also no sign of Halo, Forza 3 and motion controller.
Despite ending its E3 2008 media briefing with a huge bang - Final Fantasy XIII is coming to Xbox 360 - Microsoft's conference was missing a few big names that had been strongly rumoured.
One of the titles everyone was expecting to see was Alan Wake, but once again remains out of the public eye. In the run up to E3 there was also strong rumours that a new Bungie developed Halo game would be announced, but was no where to be seen.
The other surprise no shows included the next instalment in the Forza Motorsport franchise and the "so heavily rumoured it must be real" Xbox 360 motion controller.

Gotta say i'm disappointed that I've not seen anything on Alan Wake for so long, but i'm not surprised it wasn't shown by Microsoft because they like to focus on the current year at E3 now.
It will be huge at X08. HUGE I TELLS YA.
Forza, X08
Halo, go to bungie.net, announcement on Weds. Not Halo Wars. Probably Halo Zero or Marathon IV. Though arguably they would both probably end up being similar games whichever title they had. Either way it will be a bridging title for Marathon and Halo, with no chief playable.
