Midway has confirmed an October 27 release date for Mortal Kombat Armageddon in the UK - PS2 only.
The final instalment in the Mortal Kombat series for current-gen consoles has been confirmed by Midway to arrive in the UK on October 27. As was revealed several months back, the game will not be coming out for the Xbox in Europe - for this version you'll have to source an import from the US.
Armageddon features the most complete roster ever, including almost every character from the MK universe - you'll even be able to create your own character and Fatality. Game modes include a brand new Konquest mode, which has been expanded to be a full-blown adventure with a deep story and a variety of gameplay, plus a revamped online mode.
Look out for a review towards the end of the month.

Pirate games, fuelled by non release
I find the lack of a European release for MK Armageddon deeply insulting. I think decisions of this move fuel pirate games and chipping of machines to play downloaded duplicates to get the games we want for the consoles we own. GG Midway, lets hear it for pirate MK games rather than offical releases in Europe. I wont buy anymore MK games if this one isnt released sometime in the future, shove the love of the games if they dont respect the Euro gaming market.
