Fatal Fury Battle Archives Vol.1 coming to PS2

Volume 1 to include Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 2, Fatal Fury Special and Fatal Fury 3.

SNK Playmore and Ignition have announced the European August 2008 release of Fatal Fury Battle Archives Vol.1 for PlayStation 2.

The first volume of the Fatal Fury collection will include Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 2, Fatal Fury Special and Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory. We're promised arcade perfect conversions, newly arranged soundtracks, character customisation options and the bonus playable character Ryo Sakazaki.

"The Fatal Fury franchise contains a real piece of SNK's history," said Peter Rollinson, Product Manager, Ignition Entertainment. "It was these games that helped mould the successful gaming track record that SNK enjoys."

Fatal Fury Battle Archives Vol.1 is scheduled for release in August.
