Viva Piñata DS is "complete"

Good news for fans of portable gaming and candy filled animals.

Over on Rare's latest Scribes update - a mail bag with often hilarious answers - the UK developer has confirmed that Viva Piñata: DS, or Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise as the BBFC revealed, is now finished.

"... Viva Piñata DS is complete," stated the Scribes answer. "We are just waiting for our army of university interns, illegal immigrants and small children from the local schools to assemble the hand-made cartridges that we'll be selling at all good flea markets this Sunday."

While the bit about illegal immigrants is most likely to be untrue, this is presumably code for the game being complete and entering the manufacturing process. No release date has been set, but the next few days might see to that.
