1080p Katamari heads to PS3

Remake to feature more in-game items and a new black & white stage.

According to the latest issue of Famitsu, Namco Bandai Games is working on a Katamari Damacy remake for PS3.

The translated article reveals that the game will offer full 1080p visuals, a dramatic increase in the number of in-game items, a new game mode and a new black & white stage.

Katamari Damacy is scheduled for release on PS3 later this year and could go some way to making up for complete lack of Katamari games on the platform thus far - Beautiful Katamari was released exclusively on Xbox 360.

Tis a crazy game, hopefully improves on the last game as well.

Until then PS3 fans have Noby Noby Boy to get their share of Katamari style lunacy.
