A fiscal 2010 release points to a holiday season 2009 debut for Bizarre's first Activision title.

During a conference call with analysts and investors, Activision has reconfirmed that its newly acquired Bizarre Creations development studio is currently working on two titles. The first of which has been confirmed for release during the publisher's fiscal 2010.

"Bizarre is deep in development on two multi-platform titles and we are looking forward to the release of our first new racing IP in fiscal 2010, which already looks very strong," said Activision Publishing CEO Mike Griffith.

A fiscal 2010 release falls in the 12-month period beginning April 1, 2009, but a holiday 2009 release appears most likely.

Griffith also praised Bizarre Creations, calling the studio a "premiere developer of racing games with a consistent track record of breakthrough quality".
